The activity of doctoral students and academic staff serving as doctoral supervisors is reflected in a broad range of valuable outcomes aimed at advancing the frontiers of knowledge and research in the fields of Systems Engineering and Computers and Information Technology, toward new results that can be applied in today’s society.
The quality and relevance of research at SD-AC are demonstrated by the numerous successfully defended doctoral theses, articles published in prestigious international WoS/ISI-ranked journals and indexed in other international databases, as well as proceedings of leading conferences. The performance of our academic community is also reflected in recognized patents, major national and international projects, and prestigious awards received at significant scientific events. SD-AC annually grants the Studio et opere excellens award, along with other distinctions.
By fostering postdoctoral research and supporting strategic partnerships with the socio-economic environment, the Doctoral School of Automatic Control and Computers reaffirms its leading role in the advanced training of highly qualified human resources, directly contributing to the development of a knowledge-based society.
