OPTIM Research (MySMIS Code: 153735) – co-financed through the European Social Fund (ESF) – Human Capital Operational Programme (POCU) 2014 -2020. The project is implemented during the period 06.06.2022 – 05.12.2023, with POLITEHNICA University of Bucharest as the beneficiary and the Romanian National Committee Association of the World Energy Council (CNR-CME) as partner.

General objective
The general objective of the project is to increase the relevance of doctoral and postdoctoral programs by developing the applied and advanced research skills of 90 doctoral students enrolled in the final year of doctoral studies and 26 postdoctoral researchers studying in the fields of Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Computers and Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications and Information Technologies, Mathematics, Physics and Industrial Engineering, by providing financial support, their participation in a pedagogical training program, complementary course modules, and by encouraging networking activities aimed at developing/consolidating sustainable partnerships with economic operators and other relevant actors in the RDI field, in smart specialization areas according to SNCDI, with an emphasis on the economic sectors with competitive potential identified by SNC.
