Doctoral Funding
The Doctoral School of Automatic Control and Computers continuously supports performance. Doctoral students may benefit from additional funding sources within the School through:

Doctoral scholarships funded by the Ministry of Education and Research amounting to RON 3,700 for enrolled doctoral students (see Government Decision 1653/2024 [link]). Scholarships are awarded upon admission to the doctoral study program through a competitive process based on performance criteria.

Doctoral scholarships offered by companies with which the Doctoral School has collaboration agreements. Their availability is managed by the doctoral supervisors and depends on the topic of the doctoral thesis.

Doctoral scholarships offered by international cotutelle partners for research stays carried out at their institutions. Their availability depends on conducting a jointly supervised doctoral thesis and is managed by the doctoral supervisor.

Doctoral scholarships for international mobility. These mainly fund international mobility at prestigious universities abroad. More information is available here [link].

Funding doctoral research through research and development projects at national and international level, in collaboration with academia or industry, through participation in project research teams. These funds are managed by the Project Director or Project Manager, together with the doctoral supervisor. Projects carried out within the Doctoral School are presented here [link].
