Doctoral activities take place in classrooms and laboratories within the Faculty of Automatic Control and Computers and at the
PRECIS,
using modern equipment and advanced research infrastructures available within SD-AC.
General description
Teaching and research activities take place in classrooms and laboratories within the Faculty of Automatic Control and Computers and at the PRECIS. The infrastructure includes state-of-the-art equipment, and some of the resources are also available through the ERRIS.
Research laboratories
PhD students and doctoral supervisors have access to the faculty laboratories, the PRECIS center, the research laboratories within PRECIS, the CNTI infrastructure, and specialized centers for robotics, industrial informatics, and systems engineering.
Computers and Information Technology
Platforms for 2D/3D graphical representations, nonlinear process simulation, and parallel processing; high-performance servers and storage systems; network infrastructure connected to RoEduNet and GEANT; Kinect sensors, Arduino boards, and VR equipment.
Systems Engineering
Industrial robots and automation systems, including ABB IRB 140, Bosch-Rexroth equipment, Allen Bradley Micro820 programmable controllers, Balluff RFID systems, and visual inspection systems.
